02:32 pm - mission for those of you who choose to complete it ....
Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. Just all the decorations and lights in every good shopping center, mall, and at people's houses and things make it so very cozy. I know it is a little early to be thinking about Christmas and all but yeah. I know presents are not the most important thing but anyway.... the "mission" you must complete is to make a list of 10 presents you wish you could get for Christmas. ^_^ It is actually a challenge for me to come up with ten things so you try it. If you are awesome, you will do this. Otherwise, this message will self destruct in your face. So start thinking what to post....

Note: if u are posting your answers and want to post pictures its probably easier to post an entry instead of on my comments ^_^ cuz otherwise that will be a really big comment

This sorta makes me wonder. How would I feel if I got something back that was precious to me that I lost for 33years. Hmm..that is quite lucky though. Most things on the news are just so saddening. I like happy news sometimes.

I really like this for some reason. It looks so funny. Designing crazy furniture things like this sounds so fun especially if people like and want to buy it. I wonder how much one of these will cost. Okay, sorry I am done distracting myself from class :-P

11:50 am - just something a little bit fun and interesting to me
We've all at some point read or watched some version of the Cinderella story and I always wondered about whether there really was this person (aside from the magic and whatnot of course). Well, I just Wikipedia-ed that and got http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinderella a bunch of versions of this story. I plan on reading some of them sometime when I am not at school just to feed my curiousity.
I know Mulan is real. There really was a girl who joined the Chinese army in place of her father and stuff. My grandmother told me the story way way way before the Disney cartoon of it came out. Pocahontas is also real too. She spent her last days on a voyage to refind John Smith. Also, the Disney version had them about the same age but in reality she was 14 and he was like at least in his late 20's if not 30's I believe.
This also reminds me of a random little quiz I took. It was cheesy and childish but come to think of it, it makes sense. It was some "Who is your prince quiz" available on facebook lol. (NOTE: I don't have a facebook). Anyway, my quiz result was Aladdin. :-P He was the coolest anyway hehe.
I am suddenly interested in reading the "Thousand Nights and One Night" (The Arabian Nights thing), the stories by Hans Andersen, the Grimms Brothers stories, and the Odyssey/Illiad (again). I am in a very umm...wanting to hear a good story mood. I know there are a bunch of good Chinese stories too but I don't know the name or if there would a collection of them anywhere.
